Are you looking for specific publications?
Groupe URD’s resource centre has more than 3000 books and 5000 reports, studies and research notes, mainly in French, English and Spanish. It also has pedagogical tools (video, CD ROM, DVD, etc.), journals and newsletters.
The resource centre specialises in everything to do with humanitarian action. It has publications on many different countries – particularly in Africa, Asia and the Near and Middle East – and on a wide variety of topics linked to different operational sectors (Urbanism, Nutrition, IHL, Environment, Health, etc.) and to more general subjects (Geopolitics, Sociology, Politics, Personal Development, etc.).
Groupe URD’s archivist can provide personalised help to carry out a literature search on request.
Resources can be consulted at Groupe URD headquarters and remote searches can also be carried out.
Since 2003, the resource centre has been a member of Ritimo, a network of documentation and information centres which focus on sustainable development and international aid. The network includes over 80 centres throughout France, providing independent information and promoting communication between progressive, grass-roots organisations.
The resource centre is open to the public. Books and documents can be borrowed by members of the Groupe URD association or the Ritimo network.
